The compositions by master composers Leevi Madetoja, Oskar Merikanto, and Jean Sibelius reflect the soul of their era, with themes of love for nature and melancholy, yet always leaving room for hope and joy. This evening is a journey into the heart of Finnish identity, where music tells stories about who we are.

Throughout the night, we will be treated to the powerful and moving interpretations of Mari Palo and Waltteri Torikka, whose voices harmonize beautifully in duets. Marko Hilpo’s masterful piano playing adds a deep (sense of) atmosphere and expression to the compositions.
