Honkamaja in Nuuksio
The Chamber Choir Histan Veisaajat returns to it’s origins, to Honkamaja in Nuuksio, where this 14-member ensemble focused on traditional Finnish psalm music first came to be. In this concert the ensemble takes a look at their journey through the years. Joined by their friends Taisto Reimaluoto, Jukka Relander, Pekka Kuusisto and Maija Kauhanen, Histan veisaajat merges different kinds of parts into a harmonious one. This is also the meaning of the Finnish word ”sovitus” (pl. sovituksia): fitting of clothes, atonement of sins, or arrangement of music, among others.
